Our Mission
The HARLEM SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (HSO) seeks to provide role models to bring symphonic music to diverse communities and to encourage youths of all ethnic origins to pursue careers in the field of classical music.
Through its various components, the HSO's mission is to conduct numerous interactive education and outreach programs, create new audiences, and to promote African
American involvement in the arts.
